Why no tags

Most blogs bolt tags onto categories and end up with two overlapping systems that drift apart — a post tagged "AI" and "workflow" and "automation," filed under a category that already covers two of those. This site skips that entirely. Every post gets exactly one category, chosen deliberately at the time it's written, and that's the whole taxonomy. It's a smaller list to maintain, a clearer mental model for a returning reader ("I want the Linux stuff" is one click, not a tag-cloud guessing game), and it keeps the archive from quietly turning into a junk drawer of thirty barely-used tags nobody browses.

How this archive grows

New posts land in exactly one category's row below, most recent first. There's no fixed publishing schedule — posts go up when there's something real worth writing, not on a content calendar built to hit a cadence. If you're after the running commentary between full posts rather than the archive itself, the newsletter covers that, and the Contact page lists where else to find shorter-form notes.

Each category also has its own dedicated page — its own intro, its own themed interactive, and just that category's posts, nothing mixed in from the other five.
