This site does not use a cookie consent banner

There is no cookie banner or popup on this site. That's not an oversight — the cookies below are all either strictly functional or aggregate-measurement, with no advertising purpose, so there's nothing beyond them to gate behind a consent choice today. If an advertising tool is added in future (see below), a consent mechanism will be added at that time, and this page will be updated first.

Cookies used on this site

Functional — reCAPTCHA (only when you submit the newsletter form)

• Purpose: verifies you're not a bot before subscribing to the newsletter.
• Cookie: _GRECAPTCHA

• Duration: approximately 6 months

Analytics — Google Analytics 4 (every page)

• Purpose: measures aggregate site traffic and behavior — pages viewed, referring source, approximate location, device/browser type. Not used for advertising, not linked to Google Ads.

• Set by: Google Analytics 4
• Duration: up to 2 years

The newsletter form's own widget script (ConvertKit/Kit) does not set a cookie — verified directly by inspecting the script it loads. It uses browser localStorage instead, only for its own popup-frequency logic (not applicable to this site's inline form placement), which does not identify you personally and isn't a cookie.

Not currently in use

This site does not currently run the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, Microsoft Clarity, the Pinterest Pixel, or any other advertising tool — none of these set cookies here today. If any is added in future, this page will be updated first, and a real consent mechanism will be built at that time — not retrofitted after the fact.

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Doing so may affect the newsletter signup form specifically (reCAPTCHA may not work without its cookie), though the core reading experience of this site does not require cookies to display content.
